"They do not mess around. This might be the best cheesecake over ever had. We had the cinnamon bun, Oreo, s’mores, and tiramisu. None of them disappointed and all were packed with flavor. I don’t want cheesecake from any other place."

"Had not been to this establishment in some time. Went for a quickish bite before a movie. Sat at the bar, and we had great service. Drinks were on point, food was mediocre, at best. Husband had filet that was decent. Fish sandwich was, ah! Coleslaw was delish. The prices are always high in this upmarket area, which was expected. However, it would be nice to get better value out of the menu."

"Unfortunately I didn’t have the opportunity to dine here because they had only 2 servers but the staff was so nice. We sat at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The female bartender was so sweet and kept us entertained as we attempted to wait until a table became available. However we had to leave because our flight was in a few hours and we wanted to enjoy dinner. Next visit to Nola I will definitely return"

"Samurai used to be so much more. Although eating is still good, we waited for two hours to sit on the table! the room was completely tight and so badly cramped that not even my tiny 3 ft nie could fit through my chair and the person behind me. the waitress was nice, but not all there. She has the half of our commands wrong, was very confused and told us again and again what we wanted was not available. the chef came out to cook and although funny, they could say he was just there to be paid and was not real. he even spoke badly about the waitress who wasn't great. we had a cake for a birthday and at the time when it came to us, it was melted and no that was a regular cake not an ice cream cake. I can honestly say that eating for me was not worth the experience, so I will not return for a past."
