"Stopped by again recently, as I needed a quick lunch and a coffee. The slightly deconstructed chicken pot pie was actually very good: lots of veggies and chicken in the bottom, and the pie was crispy and had a nice herbal flavour. The coffee was...also very good. But the place is certainly worn down, with the furniture looking quite distressed, but not in shabby chic way, just shabby... Even the cutlery looks as if it 's through the mill a thousand times... This could be a spectacular coffee house, with a stunning location and oodles of decor potential, but sadly the owner is not investing in these customer friendly opportunities..."

"Steamed rice with thick noodles is the best! goer bark has improved me. Overall, eating has improved, still (and is) appetit! green tee blase tee is one of the best blase tee I have tried here! bubble tee, tropical drinks, rice, seafood, huh, noodles, desserts, ice, mini-cracks, fruits. Sometimes the place is quiet, but often it is busy! manager is very sweet! the restaurant is right now to charge $20 / box of food waste, please are they thoughtful and reasonable of what they can eat and not waste food from any reason????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????"

"Meals were great, Lobster and Seafood Linguini tasted delicious, just missedn some fresh parmesan cheese, Rock Lobster Duo was great, but the Maritime Lobster tail more tender and tastier than the Carribean Lobster tail. Stuffed Mushrooms really great. Lobster Bisque was not good! Didn't taste like seafood bisque at all. Good variety of flavors for the Shrimp feast. Vanilla Bean Cheesecake mmmm, so delicious, smooth and creamy! Best cheesecake ever! Should have a gluten Free pasta option. Will visit again!"

"Earl’s on 32nd Ave and Barlow Trail NE Calgary used to be a go to place for a long time. We have frequented the place for over a decade. Lately both services and food quality is being terribly compromised. No Happy and welcoming greetings from...the front end staff , poor service at the table and more importantly the food quality was a disaster. Not to mention the leather backrest in the booth was stinking. Smelled like had been wiped with a stinking wet cloth. 6:30pm on Thursday evening was surprisingly not really busy. 5 booths occupied and most of them had two people in them. There was staff walking around and not once did anyone stop to check on us. The water in the jug brought to our table was actually lukewarm. We had to wait a while for our server and to ask for cold water. He fixed the problem by pouring some ice in the jug. No the water jug was not removed from our table and replaced with fresh one. We could have had better service and food quality at Jo’s Cafe or even a fast food establishment. Date of visit: March 2022"
