"Spent a relaxing Sunday arvo here. Great atmosphere and good food from a German food truck parked directly out front entrance. Beers are very nice but a bit pricey at $9 per schooner. Also needs more Mid strength options. Staff friendly."

"I had breakfast at the little Sista Cafe this morning. I ordered the Mexican Breakfast-the eggs were dry and tasteless, the chizo sausage was so over cooked it was like rubber and I gave up trying to eat it after the first piece. The meal was served with a dollop of sour cream and some mashed avocado and a couple pieces of uncooked tortillas - on a scale of 1-10 I would give a rating of 2. I left most of the meal as overall it was tasteless and completely uninspired-they could not even organise some chilli sauce to try to spice it up. Really, life is too short to eat rubbish. Ohh I commented to the waitress about the chizo-I heard nothing back.<br>

Not impressed by the wait times and service from the owner.<br>
Monday evening, with 3 other tables in the restaurant seated. Took 20 minutes for entrees to arrive. Then took another 30 minutes for mains. And during this time, we noticed another table receiving food earlier, despite ordering after us.<br>
Went to counter to pay. One other person in line. Girl at the counter constantly getting harassed by the male owner. Said male owner serves 3rd person to arrive first. Takes 10 bloody minutes to pay for a meal.<br>
Despite my previous good experiences, the overbearing owner and wait times ruined this restaurant for me. Never coming back.<br>

(Plus the food this time was disappointing - the soft shell crab and pineapple fried rice were both well below average. Though to be fair, the pad Thai and island curry were still winners)<br>

"I've been trying to get to Green Beacon Brewing Co. for nearly eighteen months, ever since <span><a class="at-tags at-tags-37351257" href="https://www.zomato.com/users/lady-meatball-37351257">Lady Meatball</a></span> first came here and started telling me about the brewery with the food trucks.<br>

She has been back several times, but the stars finally aligned and I made it here tonight. I definitely see the appeal...<br>

9.5% alcohol Bourbon Barrel Aged Old Ale on tap (delicious - what Guinness wishes it was), great music and food trucks parked out front - what more could you ask for? More women...the men outnumbered the women nearly 7 to 1 on this evening (a bit of a kransky konvention).<br>

As for the food trucks...Pizzantica on Mondays and Tuesdays, King of the Wings on Wednesdays, then others rotate through.<br>
<br>
Only issue is no air conditioning. Big industrial ceiling fans help, but even with a break in the heat it was still a bit warm and humid inside the converted warehouse. Would be a 4 with air conditioning.<br>
