"After the Corona Lockdown in May and April 2020, we once again enticed Villa Medici to Münster Mauritz, which is listed in the current Gault Millau with 15 out of 20 points. We had a reservation by phone. At the entrance we disinfected our hands and were allowed to choose one of the still open places in the restaurant well visited on Sunday afternoon. On our table was a small display with QR code, which promised us a free espresso after registering. That worked out later. Service The well-trained service acted as always very courteous, unobstructed friendly and competent, without being intrusive. It was very pleasant to just get pampered. After enjoying our dishes, Martino Resta proudly showed us his wine cellar, consisting of two air-conditioned rooms and a cooling room. Unfortunately, the temperature for a delightful wine tasting of the many noble drops until the open end was easy to cool the next morning! This à la Carte selection was adapted to the current Corona Take Away, i.e. all dishes could be taken along. From the monthly changing tasting menu to €49.50 and the weekly new three-course menu with Sunday roast to €38.50 you could also choose freely. Our dishes The kitchen gave us a decorative plate with a creamy herbal cream, on which olives, capers and marinated little onions lured to a nut. Some warm discs Ciabatta and dark grain bread rounded off the whole. Zeeland oysters from the Netherlands – two pieces for 8 € My accompaniment was enthusiastic about the thick, fleshy things and plastered the specimens on ice cubes naturell with lemon and small black bread cubes. The great pleasure for the true oyster lover! Fried shrimp tomato fennelsalat saffron – 12,50 € A lonely shrimp toppte a chop of raw fennel salad, all surrounded by a clear, sweet brew. The shrimps were perfectly devastated and only briefly suspended, so that glassy consistency and bite were fully preserved. I love these delicious animals. Filled wild boar loaf artichoke Lauwarmer potato salad roast sauce – €24.50 of the Sunday roast of the day! This piece of the triggered keule was filled inside with juicy brittle and thyme and beautifully pink outside. To this end, the lukewarm potato salad made with broth, which was enriched with artichokes and small garden tomatoes, was excellent. A strong dark frying fond perfectly rounded off the intense taste of the frying. Lammcarrée with polenta and vegetables (on request small portion 18,00 € Two thick, fleshy tranches of lamb aroused my joy on this dish. And first the cut: medium rare, so inside blood red and super tender as I love it! The polenta solid and juicy in consistency cut into triangles. In between, fresh summer vegetables such as peas of the season, bite-resistant pieces of perennial cellar and tiny halved, fresh artichokes were strolling on an aromatic dark sauce mirror. So much enjoyment on my plate! Magnificent! Limes Panna Cotta Crumble Sorbet Berry – 8,50 € This summerly refreshing composition delighted with creamy firm Panna Cotta and sweet fruity sorbet on a bed of fresh berries of the season. The tasteful surprise delivered small pieces of poisonous green basil sponge (songe, molekuar kitchen . Beverages Franciacorta rosé dry with fine perlage 0.1 l to 8.50 € 2017 Riesling dry, Fritz Haag, Mosel 0.25 l to 11 € 2018 Philipps Rosé dry Selezione Caputo, Philipp first-class service, Pfalz – 0.25 l to 115 € For us a small trip from Dortmund to Münster, which we want to repeat soon. 5 – necessarily again (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it results again, 4 – happy again, 5 – absolutely again – after “Kuechenreise”"
