"First impression of the layout of the store/ restaurant was exciting and couldn't wait to sit down and try the food. Wait time for a walk in was 45 minutes to get a table even for a late lunch sitting so get in early. Once seated there were quite a few items on the menu that were no longer available, which was quite disappointing to hear especially with all the hype about the chef behind the food. It was still early and a long way before closing time. The staff and service felt like they were still finding their feet and service was a tad slow as the food sat on the pass in the open plan kitchen a bit longer than it should while you sit there getting food envy from others around you on the share tables. Overall food and fresh produce was delicious right down to the freshly grated wasabi. Look forward to try the other dishes that were not available and see if the service has lifted its game."

"After having a drink in the Asian beercafé first, I moved to this nearby Indonesian restaurant. it was a divine as it was not loud, and had a much better atmosphere. I was dressed by the $8 jugs beer. unfortunately it was a light beer with only 3.5% alcohol. I'm going to be rigorous. I enjoyed my beer with truffle oil. fries were nice and crispy as they should be. female Asian server was very pleasant. I saw many meals served around me and meal sizes seemed very generhus with bbq ribs very popular. this is a good option at melbourne central."
