"It’s a shame I was told there was a halal alternative, when in fact their ‘alternative’ was to offer me more veggie options, the only reason I booked it in the first place was because I was told there is a halal alternative. In the end I paid £120 for a poor selection of food and sub-standard cakes. Only positive is that I cannot fault the outstanding service. In hindsight I wish I had chosen an alternative."

"We were rushed on arrival and pushed to give choice of food wine, staff knew we were going to a concert. We were then left sitting for over an hour! We asked on more than one occasion for our food and met various excuses. I would not go again, although a beautiful restaurant with lovely views. In restaurant favour they did take a percentage off the final bill."

"We had an early dinner following a trip to the theatre. We ordered a starter each- chicken wings and a prawn cocktail- both delicious. For our main we went for the Beef Wellington which is served with mash at £48 per head. We opted for 2 vegetable sides also. There is no denying the beef was very good, beautifully tender but I wouldn't recommend it for that price. I'd definitely recommend the restaurant, we just didn't feel that was good value for money. We left before dessert as nothing took our fancy. Very welcoming and friendly staff."

"Eating is very good, as expected. the services are very nice to them and polite. the prices are not so high that they would think when they go to a gordon ramsey restaurant. the only thing you should know is that the bark wellington 50 pfund per person and it is for 2 people, so they will pay 100 pfund do not do the mistake I did and know about the price."
