"This restaurant came highly recommneded to me but I wasn't very impressed. I ordered a salad and it came with a few vegetables as topping. Then I ordered the veggie fajitas as I was unsatisfied with just the salad and the flavor of the veggies was lacking and overall for the price of the dish I was unimpressed with the quality and taste. As a gluten free vegan my options are limited and it's unfortunate when the few options are not up to par. The service was excellent but the food for my both my partner and I missed the mark"

"The food is always consistent here. Super fresh fish. Cooked items are spot on in regards to presentation, flavor profiles, temperature of proteins. Service can have a missed opportunity here and there but overall very good, ie.: forgotten limes for drinks, ,table touches in a timely matter, ran out of sparkling water early on a Saturday night. Always a must visit for us whenever in Laguna Beach. Absolutely one of the better restaurants in Laguna Beach."

"I have a great dining experience at Driftwood. The space is casual and coastal with ridiculously views of the ocean directly under you. The food is fresh, and tasty. We shared the Octopus, Tartare, and Crudo to begin. I recommend all of these. For the main, I have the sea bass while others had the salmon, and scallops. Again, the fish was cooked perfectly, and came with amazing sauces and accompaniments. Dessert was the sticky toffee cake. Service was attentive and knowledgeable. I would definitely come back. It does get busy, so if you want a nice spot for sunset, you should call ahead."

"If I had ever married or held a big party in Laguna Beach, then I would probably choose Tivoli Terrace. This is a seasonal restaurant and only open during fair weather months. It mainly offers wedding parties and such, but during the Art A Fair (see my review), it will be the only place you can eat at this festival. It is easy to be distracted by all beautiful, varied and colorful works of art while you wind along the art vendor, but when you reach the rear end, you have entered the enchanting ambience of the Tivoli terrace. It feels like feeling a movie in Europe with the old world, and all the flowers and the beautiful “natural” waterfall. My bf and I decided to eat dinner here before I went to the Festival Arts and Pageant of Masters. The menu is somewhat disappointing that most dishes on the menu Mexican, not Italian. Its basically Mexican and American cuisine with 1 or 2 Italian dishes. I chose the tuna melt sandwich and my bf chose the turkey avocado sandwich. The sandwiches were good and cost about $10 each. They are served with a large bunch of cunning frits. Soda drinks with unlimited refill costs around $2.50 per. The service was okay, but you had to get the waiter attention for the beverage refills. I would not rate this restaurant more than 3 stars, but the ambience and landscape design deserve at least another star."
