"Excellent experience Francisca was our server and she was attentive and pleasant. I have the Hush puppies as an appetizer and the crab cake plate under the lunch section of the menu. They were delicious and the French fries were perfectly prepared, the Cole Slav was perfectly seasoned. Well worth the trip over the bridge!"

"I ate TL. You can sit down. You have long and short tables for your party. I ordered the fried chicken flour. Your fried chicken is made to order, so it took some time to cook (they tell you that before the time), which made me nothing, because I was not on a deadline. The food was good. The waiter was nice."

"Avenue Waterfront Grille is a great restaurant to visit the outdoor banks. It is located in downtown Manteo on the shore and has a magnificent view of the Shallow Bag Bay. Your service is great as well as your food. I was often in this restaurant and had a great experience every time I visited. They sometimes have live music outside on the deck and this is very pleasant. The host staff is extremely friendly and often checks for you how to eat to make sure everything goes well during your dinner. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice local dinner for the Outer Banks or if you just want to have a few drinks with friends at the bar and see a sports game."

"Blue Water Grill Raw Bar is clearly a hot spot in the area! Reservations are highly encouraged; and don't plan to try to get in without one unless you're okay with waiting, especially on weekends. Our server was great! She was attentive and ensured our visit was enjoyable. The dinner menu has a nice selection of food, which also features daily specials. My wife and I ordered Caesar Salads (romaine hearts topped with Applewood smoked bacon, Parmesan Grana, toasted crostini, and our roasted garlic Caesar dressing) the smoked bacon had great flavor! My wife ordered Crispy Skin Duck Breast (chilled sweet and spicy soba noodle salad, topped with toasted peanuts and sweet soy sauce and pickled cucumbers) and I went with the Seared Shrimp Pasta (sautéed shrimp, artichoke hearts, grape tomatoes and baby spinach tossed with bucatini pasta in lemon pesto Beurre Blanc with fresh grated Parmesan and garlic baguette) both of our meals were very good! It's evident that fresh and flavorful ingredients are used! Check out Blue Water when you get a chance!!"
