"It's subway. The food is Subway. I'm sure you've had it. It's alright. The reason for the five stars is for the workers. They always make solid subway sandwiches, and are super quick about it."

"Why drive to Little Tokyo and stressful parking when there is a fantastic local sushi restaurant... Given by a couple, sushi boss and waitress a small “Hole in The Wall” worth a visit... We never ran out of Green Tea, which was also “free”! Service courtesy and fast service and attentive to our needs also... The Sashimi a little expensive- but beautiful size and good size shares on order... There is a sushi bar with about 10 seats and tables to keep say 20... The ranges will vary what the cook can buy - only quality of fish A complete menu of sushi, and sorted foods in the bottom for a small place... They usually serve sushi, sashimi, tempura and various types of grilled fish. There are daily specialties, such as the Spicy Tuna Salad, which I had an excellent taste and taste ... The plates are prepared with care and with various dishes... Sushi can be ordered by Sushi List with different roles or sashimi. All in all I will return as this is a great find! Monday: closed Tuesday: lunch closed, dinner from 5-10 o'clock Wednesday: 11:30-2:30 for lunch, 5-10 o'clock for dinner Sunday: 4-8:30 o'clock for dinner"

"Eating here is really good. It's bar food, but well done. The grilled cheese was really delicious. Good selection of beer and wine. My only handle and why I give 4 stars, not 5, is due to the excessive use of disposable plastic. Our drinks came in disposable plastic cups, the flatware was flimsy plastic and came in cellophane packages, etc. This doesn't just bother me from an environmental PVC, it approves the experience. Craft beer in a plastic cup tastes much worse than in the corresponding glass cup."

"I didn't even notice there was a small sushi takeout near the carwash by the 60 fwy. If you blinked, you would drive right past since the barber shop sign is right in front of it! LOL! The sushi is very good, you can taste the vinegar in the sushi rice and the fillings are fresh. It's a limited selection, but what they do carry is very good; the California, tempura shrimp, spicy tuna and veggie rolls salmon nigiri all were very fresh delicious! The teriyaki chicken is excellent grilled more savory than sweet. The bentos and combinations are a wonderful bargain since you get a full 8 pc sushi with green salad (or salads (green, seafood squid) plus fried gyoza, kurobuta sausage, dashi tamago potato croquette for the combo). The veggie tempura is so light and crisp the frying oil is fresh. Please be patient as the wait can be long depending on orders/platters to fulfill. The owner is the only one cooking, but one can tell that he puts a lot of care/pride into each order. My 88 yr old Japanese mom is an excellent cook, very particular she loves this place!"
