"Hmm. What to say? The hotel is indeed charming and in a lovely position on the sea front. The terrace is well positioned and popular. But. Half hearted weary check in. Had to climb over discarded mattresses and linens to get to our (admittedly nice)...room. What spoils it is the service on the terrace. Off hand. Rude. Slow. Not a thank you to be had. For the first time in 10 days on France we felt unwelcome. And it is more than 2km walk into town. Not the 1 the hotel claims. So bear that in mind. On the whole, disappointing. Look elsewhere."
