"This is one of my favorite coffee shops. Everyone is nice, the lattes are cute and delicious. It can be a little slow, but it's great for just working or reading when you're not in a rush. Perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee on a weekend. Masks required. Indoor and outdoor seating available."

"My rating is based mostly on service and ambiance. Service was pretty slow all around, and out of 4 people drinking coffee, when one person asked for more coffee they were brought another cup and the rest of us sat with empty cups. We took some friends here as their first time to a McMenamins- For ambiance I had really expected more from McMenamins- all of the other locations I?ve been too have a bright and eclectic feel to them- but the seating area for dining in this place was super dark with orange lighting, giving it a dungeon-like feel even during a rainy day/evening. I get that low light is it?s own trendy thing, but I think it was dialed up too much or not done very well here. It seems more to cover that there isn?t a lot that is visually appealing at this location. There were a few artsy light fixtures in the bar area, which doesn?t help the general seating area, and the only place where there was some light was over the pool tables. Music was really too loud for a restaurant and very bass heavy. I had found this location specifically looking for a restaurant with a fireplace on a very rain Portland evening, but the fireplace had no fire; understandable, but disappointing. Food was good to average, but in a place like Portland where you can throw a stone and hit 10 restaurants with amazing food, you need something more- and I had expected a much better atmosphere from the McMenamins brand. Plenty of other restaurants in the area with better atmosphere, food, and service for a similar price."

"Part of Devil's Dill's charm comes from their unassuming punkrock store front. Write on the walls while you wqit for your dope sandwich Everyrhing here slaps. I get the #5 with a side of the sauted kale. My homie loves the #3 with the genuine german potato salad Because they are the good portal for the next door bar (NO FUN) they end staying open super late During the day, they are one of several excellent sandwich spots on the eastside, by midnight, they are the absolute best food in town"

"We have always wanted to try this restaurant for its farm to table cuisine and creative twist. I am sorry to say that we were very disappointed after dining here on a Saturday night. The restaurant isn’t particularly busy however they do have few large groups. The service was a little slow but not unbearable (we are very patient people . We are most disappointed in the food prepared. My daughter and I had the fried chicken. The chicken wasn’t seasoned, not the chicken nor the breading but was sitting on a pool of sugary syrup with bits of red pepper (thai honey chili sauce came to mind. Their new take on corn bread was not good at all. It’s mushy and has strong taste of chicken grease, which was unpleasant. Neither of us enjoyed it. My husband ordered the TABOULEH FALAFEL PLATE entree. It came with 3 falafel on it. The entree was appetizer size with entree price tag of $24. When we spoke to the waitress she kindly took it off our bill which was not expected but appreciated. Overall we love the service and the concept but the food needs to step up the game to say the least."

"I felt a little under the weather, so I stopped here on my lunch break. I got chicken noodle soup in a bread bowl, which was also served with a side of corn bread. The food was hot, hearty, and tasted homemade. It was exactly what I needed to get through my day and I definitely plan on eating here again."
