"Breakfast arrived warm, tasted really good. Coffee is basic, but I guess all breakfast places dont have great coffee. Maybe thats just me. Overall I would order from here again. Order was correct !"

"The old school can never be disappointed. This is my third time to eat here, and the service was great and fast, although the restaurant was super packed. Eating was incredible and the portions are great, and worth the value. Can't wait for the summer because the terrace looks so beautiful. Old School definitely has one of these “instagramable” aesthetics and I love the general storage in the back for a quick pickup of coffee and other treats."

"We ran in here just before closing, have been wanting to stop for a while. They were cleaning up in preparation for closing but were still able to get us a couple dogs, and an order of their delicious mini donuts. We just had basic dogs, with some of their gourmet toppings (the corn relish was very very good), and really enjoyed them, and appreciated that they were very gracious and friendly, despite our late arrival. Their was some condiments out to add on yourself so I added some mayo to my dog and this may have been my big mistake. Everything tasted great, but I was violently ill within about 6 hours of eating this. It is the only thing my partner and I ate differently in 2 days so pretty sure this was what caused it. Having said this, we will be back to try it again as the dog were awesome, donuts really good also and some of the fancier dogs sounded really good too. And the 2 guys working were really nice. Just stay away from the mayo sitting on the counter!!"

"Visited on a Monday for brunch, and the space was almost full of local diners. It's clear that this place is popular.I ordered a mint tea and the Angela sandwich.The mint tea was loose leaf came in a clay tea pot. I'll be ordering this again.I like that the rye bread used for the sandwich is thinly sliced and crunchy great texture and won't destroy the roof of your mouth. I'm unsure about the tomato chutney and aged cheddar pairing used in the sandwich. The salad helps cut through that flavour combo when it becomes overwhelming. I won't be ordering this again.Service: Friendly servers who have service timing down. The servers checked in on the hot water for my tea. Much appreciated! Thanks for understanding customer body language and being inviting.Atmosphere: a very cozy space with well used creaky stairs and flooring. The front windows let in a lot of sunlight, highlighting the decor. The building is quite old and needs renovations like many of the other neighbouring buildings. Tables and bathrooms are clean.Will be back to try more!Notes: Closes at 2:45pm Only accepts Canadian debit and cash Join the Yelp wait list if dining here on high traffic days (weekends)Vegetarian options: Yes, vegetarian options are available.Parking: There is Green P street parking on the south and north sides of Dundas.Kid friendliness: Kids could eat here. "Tried their plain ol hot dog with melted cheese, Mayonnaise, Chipotle mayonnaise, Mustard, Banana Peppers and Onion. Also tried powdered sugar donuts. Both items didn't taste bad but there was nothing special about them"

"I went to this place 2 times. Pre-Covid and during Covid when the patios were allowed to open. The food was good as usual although the service and the staff was less friendly in the second time. Prices are a bit high than your usual...brunch spot"
