"Due to the absolute demal experience my family and I had with End Zone Bar and Grill in Plano, I feel sad as if my hand is forced to write this review. As a full-time student, I traveled from town to spend some rare time with my family. Looking for some fun on July 4, and in honor of Nathan's National Hot Dog Eating contest, I thought it would be fun to call up some local places to find a fun food contest to take my family and friends. After we got to several places, we decided at the End Zone Bar and Grills Waffenburger Challenge. After some of my favorite YouTubers listed the challenge in the past and on their website, I was more than excited to try it for me. Incapable of reaching the staff through their online gogle chat service (if my messages were marked as read), I decided to call forward and confirm all the details with one of the members on the staff before the trek out. To be sure that I had a complete understanding of the rules and expectations, I even had a second person before (more hours after me) confirm the details again. I shared the upcoming challenge with my friends and family and many of them, I included, drove over half an hour to try. Unfortunately, after I was in a pretty much empty (now I know why) and dimly lit bar. We were told by our waiter who had to double himself as a bartender that they would no longer honour the challenge. When I asked why, the waiter/bartender said that unlike what on their website, on their menu, and members of the same staff earlier on the day, the challenge was set. Incredibly disappointed and embarrassing after several people had gone so far to testify to my attempt, I asked if they could at least make the sandwich so that I could at least try to appease my friends and have the Flechtrecht alone. The waiter sat down and took every command, including mine, back. We beat a few beers and tried to restore our morality within 15-20 minutes while we waited for our food. After this time the waiter/bartender went to our table and told us that the kitchen staff refused to make my order as the challenge was set. I strengthened that I realized that the challenge was set, but that I only wanted to try it for my own pleasure. He said it wasn't important, and the kitchen staff would still not do it. Confiscated, as the challenge simply consists of three portions of an article that is still active in the menu (one gunburger), he said there was nothing he could do, and that the staff (for some reason) was so frustrated that we could not even order the individual menu item three times and assemble it ourselves. When I asked myself to speak to a manager or someone from the kitchen staff, I was told that no one would speak to me, although my party and I had already gone so far and waited for an extensive time for our food. The waiter then shared his apologies and insisted that many of his employees and managers were known to be incapable, ignorant, irritating, and not ready to work or to accommodate customers/others on the staff. Although I would certainly agree, it is unbelievable in terms of and to say if the employees of a company also think about this from their own employees, managers and employees. Incredibly tired, hungry, disappointed, frustrated and without any kind of discount on the few drinks we ribbed while waiting for our food that has never been seen, it is safe to say our experience with End Zone Bar and Grill in Plano ruined our 4th. July vacation and one of the few nights a year I spend with my family and friends. Stay away!"
