"So impressed with the personal attention given to my family. Claire was so patient with my grandsons in deciding what to eat and Emily was very knowledgable with the allergy advice given to my wife who is a Coeliac. The standard of the food was much better than I had expected from a hotel chain and we will certainly be returning regularly. I thoroughly recommend Heanton Court and the staff. Thank you all. Dietary restrictions: Allergens and explained in the app. but staff Emily in our visit have been very helpful Kid friendliness: So patient with grandchildren making menu choices"

"Went here for some lunch. I won't be coming back. I ordered the fish and chips when it came out it looked beautiful on first site fresh and fluffy batter. Unfortunately the fish inside the batter was obviously frozen. Inside it was like a watery mush and not nice at all. My colleague ordered a chicken curry which did not look or taste great at all. The sauce of the curry was like water and the chicken was that sparse it looked like the had picked it off of a drumstick and chucked it in the watery sauce was pretty much inedible. Granted we did not complain to the staff one because of the time restraint on our lunch break , and two we asked how our meals were before we had even taken a bite so had already said it was fine ,we were wrong it was awfully.
