"I 'm currently staying at walton galata for 12 nights, 13 days post rhinoplasty as a solo woman and i just wanted to leave my review of the pros and cons. Pros: First off the owner of this hotel is a woman, zeynap, that is so lovely and she bends over backwards to serve her guests in this hotel. She always smiling and a lovely face to see around. It feels like you are home. They know their guests well. Most of the staff is incredible. They are at your door within minutes with any needs. Are always looking out for you. She has a lovely dog named sophie that is so cute that she lets the hotel guests play with. The hotel is a small family owned boutique hotel right next to galata tower. The area is filled with beautiful cafes and vintage shops so if you start walking, you can easily take a walk nearby everywhere. The breakfast is a ton of food and a traditional turkish breakfast if that is what you are seeking. They charge 8 euros/day if your package does not include it. The rooms are beautiful and spacious and constantly cleaned. As a woman, getting rhinoplasty in turkey solo is always a hit or a miss. Most hotels don 't support a solo woman much. But zeynap has done everything she can. They have a restaurant upstairs with a beautiful view of galata tour. There isn 't many food options for dinner honestly. But the hotel does order takeout for you if necessary. This helped alot as i barely had energy post-op. Zeynap has provided me soup at all hours, breakfast, communicated well. She has been overall amazing. The room was clean so quickly always. Often i 'd eat breakfast and come down and the room was turned over. They are so attentive and aware and do their best for their guests. Con: the soup situation. It was quite common to have mixed communication and responses in regards to the soup served and when. First day post-op, i asked for soup, engin provided me soup after asking the staff, as an exception. I continued to receive soup at all hours after. Each time i spoke to engin though i kept receiving the response of i don 't know if i can serve soup at this time I told him zeynap has been offering me soup i 've been struggling to eat and he said oh okay i will ask her then provided it. I feel like communication was sometimes weak. I always got mixed responses or we don 't serve soup at this time even though I had received it earlier. I had no energy in me post-op for a changed response each time. The wifi is also not so great. It is constantly disconnecting. Overall, lovely place. I would definitely stay again in the future! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in a busy tourist area with the feel of a home. One of the best hotels i 've stayed at. They were kind enough to even provide a free upgrade to a nicer suite that was so beautiful if i had wanted too."
