"I went to the Commack Diner on Saturday, August 1, 2009 everything was fine- the food, the service, etc. At some point, I needed to use the men 's room- which was, for a while, uneventful. However, after I finished doing my business in the men 's room, I was quite surprised- no, shocked- to see a woman in the room. She was a friendly, cleaning woman- just going about cleaning up- and I was still in the room at the urinal. I found this quite strange- and also, somewhat uncomfortable. However, she just smiled and continued cleaning- AS IF IT WERE TOTALLY NORMAL! I wondered at that moment what it would be like if a male cleaning person were in the lady’s room! Anyway, I washed up and went back to my seat- but I have to wonder- how can they run a place like that????!!!!"

"We order from here very often. The food is always delicious and exactly prepared as we order it. It is usually breakfast (egg sandwich) or a turkey heel we order, and no matter how many adjustments we specify (scoop out dough, crispy bacon, etc) it is always right. Oh, her potato knish is AMAZING!!! Last but definitely not least, the staff is always friendly, very nice and remarkable. Five stars!"
