"We enjoyed the food, the dinner was very delicious and well presented and the staff especially Philip were very attentive and polite. The disadvantage was the lack of cosiness, as it felt like a canteen and also the price of drinks are very expensive. Breakfast was very good as there was so much change and the warm food was delicious. Again attentive and polite."

"Booked a romantic weekend in the old part of the hall. Room was nice but lots of dust on headboard, skirting boards and cobwebs above the bed. Also in Bath room tiles not cleaned throughly. Moths on complimentary robes and no slippers. Food was outstanding and lovely. Staff wete absolutely amazing. Rachel on reception was absolutely fantastic and could not do enough for us to make the stay any better. Bar staff friendly and very approachable especially Sarah the supervisor and Gemma who was wonderful and made us feel so welcome especially after a small drinks issue. Libby on waitress staff in the restaurant was wonderful and a delight. Had the room cleanliness been perfect it would have been the most perfect weekend"
