"Had to order and pay at the bar and drinks a bit if a pain anyhow we ordered I had mine had to go back it wasn’t hot it was warm /cold plate staff a bit rude the gammon was not very tasty either and I counted 5 chips oven chips not proper chips and the pie we counted couple pieces of meat disappointed all decor still the same no change"

"My wife and I visited this pub with our dog Milo. After what was a lovely Sunday Lunch I went to pay. I settled up and as I did a very large dog (the owners Mastiff) pushed passed me in order to get to Milo....It pushed my wife out of the way and tried to attack him. I had to swing Milo out of the way on his lead whilst the owner wrestled the dog into the other room. As I lifted Milo the dog had a second go and fortunately just got a mouth full of fur! The owner tried to laugh it off and said hes a ‘big softy’! He wasn’t! He then also tried to say that he didn’t know there was another dog in or he wouldn’t have been allowed down! This was at 19:00! Absolutely 100% bang out of order! Please be careful if you take your dog here. Both Milo and Mrs were really shaken up. Shouldn’t be claiming ‘Dog Friendly’!!!!"

"As the title of the review states, lovely food and a lovely welcome. I always get great service and great food here especially when they respond to my attempts at speaking basic Turkish with their own Welsh phrases. Love it."

"This place is like Freddie Karno's Circus. It is chaotic. Firstly our ribs arrived looking like they had been microwaved. Tough, anemic and poor sauce. We sent them back and had them removed from the bill. The waitress apologized. My wife's teriyaki salmon was nice...and my burger would have been if the chips weren't stone cold. I sent them to be replaced and the waitress apologized again. We had to find another waitress to get more drinks as ours had disappeared for a while. We chose deserts. My wife's was fine but when I asked if the Chocolate fudge cake was hot and was told it was, it arrived cold.The waitress apologized again. I sent it back to come back lukewarm. I just eat it as every time it took ages to find the waitress who was permanently busy even thought it was Monday night and the restaurant wasn't full. I would have asked for a reduction has I not had a discounted voucher. It is no wonder pub chains like Brunning and Price thrive against amateurish competition like this. I won't be going again"

"We have been eating regularly here, but have never had the Sunday dinner, so booked to go yesterday, there were 3 adults a child, we ordered a starter to ask if the child could come with him, what we were told. the starter came, but the meal of the child did not arrive until the main courses were served, we ordered the chicken strips of the child, who were extremely overcooked, we sent them back had to wait until a fresh meal arrives, a very hungry child, we ordered 3 Sunday dinners, which were ok, except for the cheerful eating at all 9"
