"Good value baquettes. Had prawn which was stuffed full of prawns , best ever had. The bread was lovely Also we had the Brie one which was very good."

"Great British pub grub. It’s not fine dining, the burger was one of the better ones I have eaten, why in this country are all burgers well done, if this had been medium rare it would have been spot on. I had the trio of lamb chops the next night, very good, good beer too( the golden dragon) a bit if a rarity in north wales is good beer. Pleasant staff too, hard working as the place was very busy"

"We eat here two or three times in the week generally very well, but a few Sundays we usually had the carvery very good, but this time we had the rest of what was a very busy lunchtime the bark was hard and. the turquoise not as it should have been it was almost cold, I think that was one not in tune with its normal high standards"

"We stayed here overnight in our motorhome (Britstops) and enjoyed a wonderful meal in the restaurant with our Border Collie. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the food was superb. It made a lovely end to our holiday and we look forward to a return visit."

"Tyn Llan is a grade 2 listed historic building, built in the 1860’s and has retained in unique charm to this day. Having closed in 2017, the community came worked together and invested in the venture and as a result of their hard work and tenacity, Tyn Llan was reopened on a temporary basis in December 2017. Since then, they have gone from strength to strength providing many community based activities such as coffee mornings, live entertainment, bingo night, walking club as well as French and Welsh conversation sessions. They now offer food from Wednesdays to Sundays and if you enjoy great food, you must pay Tyn Llan a visit! Four of us booked a table on Saturday night and as soon as we arrived, we received a warm welcome from David the manager and the bar staff. The menu choice is varied and offers something for everyone. Two of us had the belly pork, one had the duck and the other had the lamb shank curry. For dessert, we shared 2 toffee sticky pudding between the four of us, again this was divine and a generous portion. The food was of exceptional standard and well presented, I can honestly say it is the best meal we have had in the past few months. We enjoy eating out in various restaurants and do so on a weekly basis. The chefs at the Tyn Llan have definitely exceeded our expectations! Diolch yn fawr/thank you for a lovely evening……we will be very soon!"

"A mixed response to the food. I had ham hock followed by duck,my husband had siracha wings followed by cannelloni and daughter had cauliflower bites followed by kids chicken nuggets and chips. My dishes were lovely, well cooked, husbands starter was good but main was burnt, daughters cauliflower bites were so spicy she couldn’t eat them. We were all really looking forward to it due to reviews but were left underwhelmed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, unfortunately we couldn’t see the views from where we were seated."

"Lovely food would very much recommend this restaurant it was excellent I'd recommend the lamb! Delicious meals and standard prices was lucky enough to eat on the patio outdoors. Staff also very friendly and covid compliant."
