"This place is awesome! Our teem from moto Photo Adventures stopped here for our celebratory dinner after completing the Mid Atlantic Backcountry Discovery Route. The owners and staff were so friendly and fun...we felt right at home! The food was delicious. And the ambiance was relaxing. Family owned and operated. We loved it!!!"

"This restaurant has been on my list to try for awhile. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. It is located on the square of downtown lawrenceville. It’s very pretty square. We ate and walked a pine the downtown and did some shopping. I ordered a pork sandwich with fries and my husband got the award wining ribs. The pork was very tender and I loved the Texas toast. The restaurant is very clean and I really appreciate that when eating somewhere lol. The staff was friendly and Attentive. The price point was really good for the portion sizes. I live in Alpharetta and I will definitely be making the drive to lawrenceville again!!! If you haven’t already you need to try this restaurant:"

"Overall a good clean diner with typical diner fare. Friendly staff who are prompt and courteous. Food was well prepared with good presentation. Portion sizes are nice and the salad bar has a nice assortment. The only minor issue was that the salad greens looked a little tired and I would have liked to see some diced ham and/or chicken. I also prefer to have oil and vinegar in seperate containers to portion out myself. That being said I would recommend this diner as a good place to grab a nice meal while on the road."

"My wife and I and another couple went to Bukes although it's not Bukes any more, I think it's Midpoint or Midtown or something like that, must have changed the name but the service was wonderful, very friendly. The food was good, my wife however got a Greek salad that was kind of a bland and had too much feta cheese. I had a Crispy chicken salad with Greek salad dressing, it was pretty good, although they could have put a bigger helping of chicken in it. The couple with us, the husband had a dish called Hash Stack which was eggs, Hashbrowns, Cheese, it looked very good. They serve breakfast all day. His Wife Had Turkey And Dressing with mashed Potatoes and gravy. That also looked delicious. Portions were more than enough. Very generous."

"Absolutely delicious so juicy and fall apart moist. I’m from Texas so finding BBQ that is up to par is difficult, but I found it! They even had Texas size servings I had the brisket sandwich and he had the pulled pork we shared perfectly prepared French fries. I highly recommend. Most definitely returning."

"So I got the veggie plate (fried okra, Mac and cheese and collard greens with roll), chicken sandwich (with fries), cornbread, chocolate chip cookies and coconut cake. The sandwich was very dry as the chicken patty had no flavor besides the flavor of the bun. The veggies were okay; the collard greens were not that good, the fried okra was decent but the Mac and cheese was underwhelming. The roll was basic. The corn bread was good. The cookies were very underwhelming, very sugary. Best part; coconut cake, I personally like coconut, but it’s great texture and flavor. The icing is overwhelming with sweetness but still great. Hoping everything was made in-house but not going here again any time soon."

"I was so excited to find a nearby place that had turnkey burgers and chicken Phillies. Sadly, neither was great ? the turkey burgers were bland and dry despite having tomatoes and condiments. And the chicken Philly was dry. I have never had a dry Philly. To add to it the chicken bits were so small (like diced cubes) they kept falling out. I paid to have mushrooms added and they were barely there and i had to add cheese to it to eat my leftovers. So in short, it's ok if you're hungry but i wouldn't add them to my go to list. Maybe they're better with beef or wings but poultry is not there thing"
