"Having been underwhelmed at the winter wonderland and meeting a socially awkward Santa with the kids we decided to go to the very new looking coffee shop. Unfortunately the coffee shop was in the same ilk as the Christmas spectacular . The shop is new looking but misses out in any character or warmth. The home printed and laminated menus were more suited to a greasy spoon. We ordered a two sausage sandwiches a latte and a hot chocolate It was all ok but only ok nothing special. The sausages seemed to have been cooked 4 days ago and microwaved as the ends of them were so hard they were crunchy. The bread had a similar provenance being dry and flakey. The latte was errr... Ok but the hot chocolate disappointed. Would write more but... See the title to see why. :"

"We are a family with 2 over 80-year-old and this was so relaxing. The rooms are very good with all that you need and bed very comfortable. The staff made our welcome as if we are family. And the food wow so much to eat and so tasty. As its an old place which we love as so with the stairs that we all adore. We are definitely going back."

"Visited with family. We had a baby with us, they were really accommodating. Sunday roast was a carvery and was outstanding. Three meats to choose from and, all great. Veg was limited to 3 options but cooked really well and the Yorkshire puddings and stuffing was great. Desserts were all home made and great portions. Outstanding value and a really good experience."

"Myself, my partner and a friend visited. My friend and I really enjoyed our Belly Pork. My partner had the fillet steak and it was really poor and tough. We mentioned it to the waitress, who said she would mention it to the chef. That...was the end of that conversation. Really disappointed with the customer service and the STEAK."

"Found this place by accident, was busy with people outside sat enjoying the sunshine so thought I must come back. Visited on a sunny evening, only bought a few drinks. Staff very polite and friendly as we're other customers. Sat out in the beer garden to enjoy the evening sun before leaving. Would recommend for a nice little country hideaway within commuting distance to Lincoln and the M180. Git eyes on some of the food served to others too, loomed amazing, we will return."
