"Our first time here we found the food is really nice. The burger is a proper meaty butcher's burger, handmade, juicy and delicious. The chicken was soft and moist, the chips super fluffy inside and crisp outside, very delicious! Staff are very friendly and attentive. A really nice pub and positive friendly atmosphere. We not only felt welcome but were welcomed by the owner with a chat how nice is that? Much recommended!"

"I was really surprised by this restaurant. We needed somewhere to eat with visiting family and our usual place was closed on a Monday. We booked a table online for 5 people, two hours before hand. The building looks neat outside but inside was spacious and homely with great decor. We all had the Monday meal deal which included a starter and main or main and dessert for under £20 each. We also took advantage of the discounted wine. The food was to restaurant standards with good portion sizes. The staff were helpful and attentive. I can't think of any negatives. We didn't have any young children with us so I don't really know how family friendly this restaurant is but for our adult party of five it was perfect."

"We came to the breakfast on Easter Monday and all the workers were beautiful! we have a 7-week baby and had to settle him before eating, but zoe came to check that the food was in order and had a nice bubble and inviting personality that put us in rest and really enjoy our visit! the food was beautiful, the restaurant is clean and tidy and the entire atmosphere makes this a place that we will definitely return to"

"First visit ordered from the main menu and didn’t realise it was also a carvery until we had ordered. Food was ok although bits were cold so had to eat it quite quickly. Had a very loud family sat next to us so wanted to make a sharp exit anyway. Reasonably priced especially when using a blue light card for discount which was possibly my favourite thing about the visit."
