"When there for the first time, a Sunday night, the place was busy. The Naan chicken club sandwich was good. The Baxter burger was also good. The aioli with the sweet fries was amazing. About a dozen beers on tap."

"Food is always awsome. Service is okay. The server we ended up with seems upset or grumpy. I guess she heard that we were questioning how grumpy she was because she came back after a few minutes with a total new attitude. I'll always go back here for the food but man oh man the front of house staff need an attitude adjustment. Myself working in a commercial kitchen I would never accept attitude like that from staff."

"I have a like - dislike experience with the Waltzing Weasel. It used to make the best French Fries and Wings but the quality has gone downhill.I have visited this place often. The first 2 days, the French Fries were the best I had anywhere. Then the next few times I was in, the Fries were awful. I'll tell you why. The fries were in little bits and pieces at the bottom of the basket underneath the longer fries which were on top. The bits and pieces at the bottom appeared to out-number the full size fries. The Weasel gets a thumbs down for turning out a simple order like fries and serving something that looked like birds had chipped away at the french fries.The wings are USUALLY very good, the best in Durham. But the quality is inconsistent.Still no improvements to the beer selection! Only 1 new beer was added in some 7 years. I'm seriously thinking this place needs a bar rescue. What a pity! It's quaint. Friendly staff but the quality of the food that is served is INCONSISTENT."

"First tried these in Tucson Arizona in February 2017 and enjoyed them a lot. So I expected the same dish here in Canada but found that they substituted sour cream for the Ranch dressing and dried bacon bits for the real pieces of bacon. The taste is very different and nowhere as enjoyable as the American version."

"When i visited the place it was full on rockin' and jammin' cold beer, the staff were cool and it was an atmosphere not what you'd call middle of the road. some great players performing, and the vibe was underground. i enjoyed the place. a bit of a younger crowd that particular day. i'd say check out the activity before you visit to be on the safe side."
