"The place is a whole force! Peaceful energy and delicious food, what could you ask for more?! I had, Drum Roll, please....the raw ravioliist of every bite was better than the last! The Marinara in these little boys are the heavens of this Italy! The hummus thick and tasteful! The sunshine burger, yes, nutty and horrific! And by far the winner of the herbs Sabzi with Basmati Rice tasted it like food for the soul, it was bold that you could taste the love! The first time definitely not the last! "I understand there is a new owner and sometimes there is a transition period, but I think this is more than that. First of all the people are friendly and welcoming. The prices are reasonable. I had jot been there for a while and was missing the comfort of this homey restaurant. I ordered an omelet, potatoes, toast and ice tea. The omelet was burned with very little meat and nasty cheese. The potatoes were good and the toast was almost unedible. They ran out of tea after 1 glass and offered me lemonade. My husband had an omelet that was also over cooked. I don't usually do reviews, but.i like the people and the place and want to see them succeed."

"Went on a late rainy Saturday afternoon around 4pm and we still had to wait. This place is so popular. We waited only for 10min so that was pretty good. We sat at a table by the window which was great since the kids were able to look out the window and kept them entertained. No crayons at this chain. Even though they didn’t have a children’s menu they are definitely able to accommodate. So the kids got mac and cheese and pizza. The pizza looked good but the mac and cheese was too cheesy. The small bowl of mac and cheese cost $4.95 plus $1.75 for a drink. Not worth that price. I ordered the pasta da vinci $10.95 (lunch portion available before 5pm) and it was plenty large. I can’t imagine how big the dinner portion would have been. We started with the popcorn shrimp which I've ordered before but they must have changed their recipe b/c it was too breaded and fried (and I don’t mine the breading part). The waiter was spacey and took forever to get our bread. We asked him to have a birthday surprise for my daughter who turned six. He said it was complimentary and consisted of vanilla ice cream, hot fudge and whip cream. No hot fudge and they charged us for the ice cream. If the service was better the overall dining experience would have scored higher. Just remember not to order too much food b/c the portions are large. Great cheesecake at $6.25 by the way, but would you expect anything less?"
