"This restaurant serves as the 'kitchen lab' for the Enderun Culinary School. Meals are prepared by students, but closely supervised by Chefs, allowing the students to get practical work experience in a controlled environment. Because most of the staff are students - including the front of the house folks - prix fixe menus are reasonably priced. We had the 'Market Menu' designed by Chef Koberl. A 3-course menu cost PHP880 (US$20). The best dish was the seared scallops with crustacean foam and green peas - perfectly done. For the price, it's worth a try."

"It's just one of those days when we had a sudden hankering for a good ol' hearty feast and our visit to Providore certainly satisfied those cravings We tried the following: 》Crispy Seafood Mayo Roll Fresh lemon dill, romaine lettuce, remoulade sauce on a buttered brioche roll served with freshly fried chips 》Italian Sausage Beef Meatball Bucatini Pasta 6-hour sauce, maligns pecorino and basil 》Grilled Pepper Herb US Beef Belly Mashed potatoes, chimichurri sauce and peppercorn au jus 》Lola's Beef Sinigang and Garlic Rice Slow roasted US Beef shortplate, veggies and chilies 》Roasted Turkey Club Crispy bacon, housemade coleslaw, herb omelette, double smoked bacon cranberry sauce etc on a french toast loaf 》Seafood and Rice Skillet Fresh prawns, fish and squid in garlic, parsley, white wine butter special spice served with creamy spinach pilaf 》Cookie Dough Cheesecake 》Ube Tres Leches Where do I even start? So pleased with our dining experience here from the delectable meals (we were so spoilt for choice) to the cosy ambiance and friendly staff. The dishes were cooked perfectly, seasoned well and packed with flavour. The meat/seafood were fresh and you could taste the quality of the ingredients used. The meals were prepared with utmost attention since the balanced flavours complimented each other. Totally impressed with the concept of the space which has a coffee bar, bistro, kitchen provisions, al fresco bar and a retail area with local artisanal products. They offer a wide array of dishes from authentic American meals to home-style Filipino cuisine so there's certainly something that would entice anyone's appetite."

"We celebrated Mother's Day here and ordered the following:<br>

- Garlic Parsley Dinner Rolls: this is simply 'monay' drenched in garlic butter & parsley. But it's so good, I double-dipped my bread in the remaining melted butter in the skillet.<br>
<br>
- Chef's Market Bowl: we usually try to order at least 1 veggie dish when we eat out. The menu doesn't explicitly say what the ingredients are, so we're pleasantly surprised when we got slices of grilled chicken, turkey (I think?) and son-in-law egg. Score!! ????<br>
<br>
- Garlic Butter Salpicao Steak: their bestseller. It's served w/ a slice of butter so the dish can be a bit rich; order a cup of plain rice to cut through the richness.<br>
<br>
- Salmon Belly Guava Sinigang: can't really taste the difference w/ that of the normal sinigang sa sampalok. But we love how fresh the salmon belly is.<br>
<br>
- Seafood & Rice Skillet: not a fan.<br>

- Winner Winner Chicken Dinner: another bestseller - 3 pcs of fried chicken served w/ mashed potato & cheddar biscuit. The chicken's ok, but I can do w/o the sidings.<br>

- Grilled 'Truck Stop' Pork Steak: a humongous slab of pork served with well-seasoned french fries and coleslaw. This one's our favorite dish hands down. ????<br>

At the end of the meal, Ma got a bottle of cologne as a token from the restaurant. Kudos to the management for making moms feel extra special on that day. ????"
