"This is not a review of the food, as I didn't eat. Nor is it the accomodation, as I didn't stay. It is a review of a pint of Guinness I had there today. Tuesday afternoon, nice and quiet.. popped in for a pint. £5.10p. Very reasonable. Unfortunately downhill from there. I'll bullet point the problems.. to avoid a drawn out affair.. 1. The glass wasn't dry. You can tell this from the creeping mottled effect visible. 2. The head is about 5mm 3. There is Guinness spilt down the outside of the glass. 4. It tasted utterly awful. The first three problems on this list are forgivable.. but the last isn't. I've had many pints of Guinness, in many places.. but this was in the bottom 3. Very disappointed. Given that you can buy a four pack from the supermarket for roughly the same outlay.. people bemoan pubs going out of business... but do we ask why? Bartenders being able to pour/keep a decent pint helps.."

"Where do I start, beautiful opposite and beautiful pub. was very busy, so had to sit outside, which was not too bad. they had a vegan menu that was promising, appetizers were in order. porn that we really enjoy until I found bacon! in my vegan tai green curry. they didn't charge me for my meal, but that's not good enough in my eyes. to make it even worse, the waiter drank cream fudge gave us as a suffering made from the milk. I have not had"

"Went with family for food and ice cream. There is a large variety of ice cream flavours, 3 of which I had in a tub with a chocolate flake . There is also a selection of hot food and sandwiches. On a beautiful sunny day it was a pleasure to sit in the sheltered garden and enjoy good food with a great view of Bardsea. There is a parking area across the road with unobstructed view across Morecambe Bay. A great little place for a relaxing pit-stop, or a longer stay. The owner, Paul Stoller, has done a great job with this little gem"
