"Well 1st place we ate while starting out 24 day vacation. This place is horrible. When my wife said that we should have eaten At McDonald’s and she hates that place, I knew it was bad. The steak was cold and smelled funny. The meat...was cold as if it was heated up and no service. There was more workers (5) then customers (only us) at noon. Stay away...."

"We had a lovely lunch at “O Praia” today. We spent sometime searching Monte Gordo for a nice little restaurant/snack bar serving traditional Portuguese fare and found it quite difficult to find what we were looking for as many places were closed, which we found surprising on a Friday! We were delighted with this place run by a husband and wife team. I had delicious grilled dourada, which was beautifully cooked and very fresh and my other half had the grilled turkey steak which was also very nice. And the figue cake was excellent! Service was also very efficient and friendly. We will go straight to this place the next time we are in MG. Obrigado!"
