"Been here a few times. Service is always friendly and their prime rib is to die for. It comes out quickly and you get a lot for what you pay for. It 's one of those places you drive by and think 'huh I should try ' please do. It 's quite and so good!"

"In my newly found desire to slowly make my way through Edmonton's donair shops...today I found myself accross the street from Amean.Perhaps due to my love of Simon King, it just felt natural to order a King Spicy (despite the fact that of course...this is not Simon King...).Pretty good. Tastes to me like it is laced with Franks Red Hot or something similar.Didn't actually enjoy this flavor mix with the sweet sauce. Decent value at ~$10 for the donair and a bottle of Kirkland water...If the opportunity presents itself again, I believe I will try the Amean Burger. Looks awefully good!Until then, I don't plan to make any trips especially for these folks.I have had better.Indeed...I have had worse.If you find yourself in the neighbourhood hankering for a donair...they'll certainly do."

"Donairs are a very particular thing for people much like brussel sprouts you either love it or you hate it and nothing in between I would consider myself a donair expert you might say I have eaten at about 68% of the donair shops offered in this city and often is my "Friday night" activity I typically go more then once to get a good experience of the location in this particular case here is my conclusion the seating like most donair shops is rather limiting the overall condition of the shop is maintained but not exceptionally clean however to be expect due to the product the Meat was ok very typical of most donair meats however not the same as a few other locations and im not a huge fan of fried donair meat or bottom of the spit Meat however lots of people like it crispy im more of a second cut kind of guy where the meat is cooked however still soft and tender this is not the case at this locationOnto the veggies as with most places and this place less so then most I would say that the veg consists of a larger portion of the donair and the meat ratio was acceptable but not over abundant the vegetables where fresh and crisp however one thing I did notice was they use yellow onion rather then white which typically for sensitive stomachs can leave you with heart burn also the taste is different where white onions used at a lot of locations is sweeter The biggest gripe I have with a could 3/4 of the locations I have visited and this one all the same is the sauce ! Now typically im a tzatziki kind of guy however I always like to try a donair each with tzatziki and sweet sauce before I will comment on a location or leave a review here is the verdict The sauce although flavourful and rich is what I call broke that is the milk they use due to the shear cost and volume they go through is not of high quality often leaving the sauce thin and runny where as shops that use the slightly more expensive carnation milks often do not run into this issue and result in a thicker more easily consumable sauce and donair Overall this donair shop comes highly reviewed and the food don't get me wrong is good It is not exceptional in my books I would however put it towards the bottoms of my top 10 list :)"

"My father came to visit from Winnipeg for my birthday and he was craving an Edmonton donair. I wanted to make sure that we got a quality one, and based off reviews we chose High Voltage. The donairs were delicious. The grilling and seasoning (must be some oregano) on top was perfect. Choose the sweet sauce.On top of the scrumptious donairs, our cook/server was friendly AND he knew that Phantom of the Paradise is what’s up in Winnipeg. Cool.Thanks for the great experience."

"Ende august 2021 for dinner with my wife, son and his friend. was 1/2 to 2/3 full and were sitting on a good table near the restaurant. our server actually set us down and from the beginning seemed abrupt, distracted and distracted. not rude, but stone. we ordered a bottle of wee and a high ball and seemed to take a dae and when she brought the wee she just ripped it up and poured away on three glasses directly before even tasting? she didn't say anything about her mistake?...or did she know? we are not weinschnobs on any wise and it was good, but almost sticky on the server part and she did not seem to care or did not know. if she had done that with some people, they might have canceled it. She never filled one of our wine glasses again, and we did alone, but not a big thing. we ordered our meal and again she looked at whyte ave around and did not seem to give really attention. she has asked a question and said what was that? my son and his friend ordered one of the plates and asked the server if they could swallow the calamari for glutting, as he has a mere fruit allergy. he explained that it was not a deadly allergy, but rather makes him quite sick. she said that would be okay. we ordered an additional appetizer of hummus and pita and brought our pita and hummus and then hummus and pita to go with our meal. it had two dips with him, the hummus and an unknown pink white dip. my son took a big swallow from the bath with a pita and then had a strange look at his face? he said he thought the court would have fished in it. we didn't touch it and when the server showed up one because later, we asked if the bad had fish in it. she answered, and apologized. we didn't do a big thing, but later I, what if it was a deadly allergy? the rest of the food came in time. I had chicken souvlaki and found it were chicken legs that were very tasty, but expected chicken breast as that is what 90% of Greek restaurants have served that I have been. Perhaps this should have been pointed out at least on the menu? my wife had the moussaka she said was delicious. ekmek for dessert, that was excellent. maybe time for some remedial training on the servers part because others than that it was really good, but cant really rate it over 2 due to this performance. not fair tipped the cook and all others get nothing because of their service"
