"Situated just down from the Village Cinemas in Ryrie Street, this place is perfect for either a pre movie or post movie meal. Prices are very reasonable and the staff are very friendly. Most meals are on or around the $20 mark and the menu is small but is done really well. We walked in after seeing a movie at around 530ish and were warmly greeted and were given a choice of tables. We started off with a couple of drinks, a beer and an espresso martini ($15) while we waited for others to arrive. Once we were settled we ordered our meals, I went with the flathead tails, my wife with the calamari and our friends with the lamb pie or was it steak! The fish was cooked just right, in fact the best I have tasted for quite sometime and came with a large serve of chips and salad. The calamari and salad was huge and apparently very tasty and well cooked also. The pie was a good size and came topped with mashed potato and veges and looked quite tasty as well.We were not rushed after our meal and we had another leisurely drink after our meals.The only small fault I could pick was that they didn't have all the beers available on the drinks menu and the girl who took our drinks order when our friends arrived mistook a Peroni for a light beer but they are very minor things and did not detract from our experience at all. I would definitely come back here again."
