"Chez Nathalie used to be a regular place to go for an excellent meal. We lived only 10 minutes or so distant, so it was an easy choice. Once we moved, Chez Nathalie is now 30 minutes walk. We decided to take that walk this evening. So the menu is simple, with three small plate appetizers and three or four starters. I chose duck Fois Gras with smoked herring, and it was delicious. She chose a seared tuna with Tatziki, and while she did not share any of the tuna, the Tatziki was excellent (and she was NOT going to share, so I 'll presume it was good, she concurs). My main dish was ground lamb meatballs served with a white bean and carrot accompanying gravy. All was delicious,I used the bread to mop the last of the gravy from the plate. Her main dish was again tuna, supposed to be mi-cuit (barely cooked, i.e. raw in the center) but it arrived cooked through. Served with a squash puree and sautéed beets. The squash was good, the beets were good and she says they are lucky I like tuna cooked through . She at it all. Dessert choices are simple, maybe five choices. She took the delice de chocolate, a chocolate cake which was very rich served with a salted caramel sauce. I chose the Brioche Pain Perdu with pear. A thick slice of 'french toast ' made with brioche, served with a sliced pear half and sesame seeds. Again, quite good. We chose a bottle of Montlobre, a Pays d-Oc white blend of Vigonier and Sauvignon which was excellent. Service is good without being overbearing. While we had made a reservation, at least this evening the house was not full. It is a small space, so unless you are just going around the corner, I 'd recommend a reservation. Note that outdoor seating is offered in warm weather, in the winter there is none. Our bill was (Euro) 110."
