"We had the highest hopes of spending our NYE at Amura with some Hibachi and friends. Unfortunately they seriously dropped the ball (no pun intended). Sitting ya at our reservation time of 730pm which was great but then coming to us to tell us they are severely short handed and we wouldn’t eat for at least another hour. At this time we were already there, no other reservations for NYE and we had to adapt. We spoke to who we thought was the manager and asked how this could happen and what we could do to make this right. No suggestions were given to us so we came to the table with some. Maybe buy us some apps or a round of drinks. Anything to say “ we value your business and we are sorry”. But no. Luckily for us we had great friends around and trying to see the best for the New Year, while our stomachs rumbled from hunger. 9pm our chef came to the table and we began our experience. 1.5 hours late. Food was decent but timing was so off the rice and noodles were cold when our protein was cooked. Just unfortunate overall and not how we had intended. At the end of our meal we were told this “always happen on NYE” , well it will be our last time. Happy New Year everyone!"
