"I usually go to mesa grill for lunch are other in the surrounding area since we work at north Bakersfield Toyota. So today we decided to come get some food here at fit pantry right ? Looked up the place saw it had great reviews decided to place an order for pickup. Went to pick up the food (takeout didn’t go inside used the drive thru) now our experience as a whole was good food came quick they had our order ready when we got there but the issue was the quality of the food especially for the price it was. The food was EXTREMELY bland no flavor whatsoever and it looked like they just slapped everything into the plate called it a day. Out of all the food places in the surrounding area this is definitely the worst tasting by far. Again not knocking on the establishment just the food was honestly disgusting me my co worker both threw away our plates. We got the barbacoa plates which were 10.99 each and on top of it tasting like a old soggy sock ripped up by a dog thrown together into the to go plate it was only a little bit of food ! Will not ever be returning it’s a 1 done with me"

"I would have given 5 stars simply for the service. Wish I had taken the name of our server. She was attentive, timely. Checked in often and with great timing. Felt really spoiled. Never had a need really as she was so on top of everything. Rolls were just okay. Overpriced in my opinion. Nothing spectacular. Maybe decent at best. But her service really made up for the lack of love with the rolls. Wasabi was horrible. I like a hot spice and added an insane amount of wasabi yet no flavor to it and no spice. Maybe they can't help that, though. I honestly compared the rolls to that of grocery store rolls for twice the price at least. Only ordered rolls though, maybe the other menu items offered more, I can't know that . I've definitely had worse, and also much, much better for less of a ticket price. 104$ for 4 rolls and 2 bottles of medium quality saki. Spent money much better elsewhere. The service earned the stars here, or else rolls were a 2 on their own."
