"I would have given a good review if the sushi was amazing but unfortunately it wasn't good. I order a baked salmon roll first and they told me that is will a few minutes which was fine. It took 8 minutes and 28 seconds for me is good timing because of the rice and fillings. As soon as my first bite of the baked salmon roll, something tells me that the salmon didn't really tasted like salmon. I order a simple California roll, when they gave me the California roll the roll was too salty and I didn't want to finish the California Roll but I had too. While I was eating the California roll, I saw the cashier on her phone instead of doing her work. Which brings me to never wanting to go to Maki Yaki ever again."

"A neat, no frills Japanese lunch experience. Inside a food dish, a perfect gourmet fast food experience. Udon texture was perfectly firm and broth was authentic with several layers of taste. Tuna don was fresh and delicious much better than some fufu sushi bars! I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you love Udon!"

"Pasta here was really good! and it is also very fast. suppe came out as soon as I came to a table after ordering and was served within 5-10 minutes. the spaghetti polpette was perfectly boiled al dente and the pasta was simple but tasty."

"Honestly, not super impressed, the service was okay??? Nothing crazy but we weren't neglected and the server had a nice energy but a little forgetful. The spicy tuna on crispy rice tasted soooo fishy, I love raw fish but it should not leave a fishy taste in my mouth. The rolls were lackluster, when I got mine a few pieces had fallen over and when I went to pick it up it literally fell apart, could have been just a bad day but I will not be going back. Really felt like I wasted my money my friend didn't enjoy her roll either, the fish was just not good!"

"This place is located in the food court in Mitsuwa marketplace. There were a lot of different delicious bowl options! I was craving fresh fish so I got the seafood don. It was about $11 for the bowl, which is an ok price for the amount of food. Plenty of rice, but the fish portion was kind of small. The ginger took up one quarter of the bowl. The fish tasted fresh and had a good texture. The food court gets super busy during weekends, so finding seats can be hard. Just be prepared to keep your eyes peeled for seats if you want to dine in. Overall no major complaints!"

"Great for lunch. one of the few Japanese restaurants for lunch. the bark meat is a thicker cut that is different than most teriyaki bark. tie young lady who served us was very beautiful and patient. the only problem was that the chicken wings were boiled under."
