"5/5 such a tasty bite to eat a vegan houtou dish (never thicker than udon). the server knew what was vegan and quickly secured me a vegan option was all in order. she also said that my dish was vegan again when she broke it out. "The name in english is takekawa udon. the noodles are delicious. it was at 10 a.m. on a Sunday when I arrived. they have an English picture menu with instructions to show. they pay when you eat. the menu is simply large or small udon in broth or with broth on the side. toppings green planks, tofu, seetang, ei and horse meat. I have everything except the flesh. very nice owner busy popular cheap place. you take your shoes off and sit Japanese style. there is a water dispenser they also help themselves. I highly recommend it my udon was delicious, fresh and came very fast."

"The architectural design is beautiful. A huge wide spaces inside. However due to its architecture,when its crowded it is quite noisy. When there to have Houtou due to its unique design however there is just one type of Houtou available there. Won't recommend to the people who wants to enjoy typical Japanese Houtou. Personally The taste of the Houtou is not tasty compared to other restaurant. Must focus on its Houtou taste and also must increase the types of Houtou in the menu. It was an average Houtou restaurant for me."

"Hot Yam soba is great. Mushroom hota is better than Beef hota in my opinion. Wonderful meal. Loved the light local sake. Very smooth and light."

"Hotta udon Noodles and curry pork cutlet rice is great. Noodle is tasty and pork is fresh. Price is reasonable too. Order came surprisingly faster than expected as there were many ppl when we were there. Everyone seems to order the pot noodle, but we did not order. Will return tk try that next time!"
