"Been here for both lunch and dinner. The place is unpretentious and casual.<br Their bento box lunch menu is value for money with good quality side dishes, free upsize for plain rice and unlimited refill for miso soup. Their miso soup is quite good.<br But dont go crazy with the free upsize for rice as their regular is quite big. I managed to only make a small dent to the rice!<br <br Their dinner menu is quite limited. This isa yakitori place so they only do bbq grilled skewers. Lurve the pork belly skewers! other items on the menu are quite ordinary nothing to rave about. <br <br We found their food a but salty for our liking, but everyone taste buds are different. <br <br <br"

"New Years Day, arrived 8:40 pm, only about 5 other people sitting at train. NO SUSHI going around AT ALL, except a very tired old egg roll that had rolled around far too many times. Had to order, brought us out 2 wrong orders and then we waited half over hour for California Roll to arrive at 9:25 pm (it was warm and tasted disgusting). MORE STAFF THAN CUSTOMERS. TOTALLY DISORGANIZED FRONT OF HOUSE AND KITCHEN STAFF, kept apologizing. They bungled everything at every step. I eat sushi on the Gold Coast frequently. I recommend Sushi Train which is only a few meters away in Broadbeach (consistently good food, great service and cheap cheap.) DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME"

"Lots of new restaurants but we opted for Hero Sushi in the food court area. Chicken Karaage was great and the gyoza was delicious. Quick, cheap and tasty. A great option when shopping and not as heavy as other options."

"I recently visit this place for a quick lunch. I order the lunch special spicy karaage bento. The waitress told me it will be 15 mins. After 30 mins where customers that come after me have been serve the same dishes. I ask the waitress how long my order is going to be? They told me soon and after another 15 mins when I approach her again she told me they sold out my dishes. I have ask them twice during those 45 mins wait. They did not tell me once they run out. At the end I didn't get my lunch and left the place feeling pretty piss off. The waitress couldn't care less whether I get the food or not. Normally I always have a good experience with Japanese restaurant. Definitely not at this place."
