"After reading the many good reviews we had to try it! Casual dining in a very clean place. We had a garden salad, many rolls, tuna nigiri, salmon nigiri, endamame, green tea and finished with ginger ice cream. All super fresh ingredients. We will be back!"

"My father-in-law wanted to treat us to everything they could eat, so we went for a late dinner (8 pm) the first round we ordered, was kicked out and came fast and were really good. we sent a second round of rolling and sushi...Nothing came for 30-45 minutes. they brought out 2 rolls (we had ordered a lot more) and asked us if we wanted something else. we were confused, but didn't think much of it and started rolling for more and maki, which they then told us we couldn't order this because there was no more tear. we asked when she closed and she said, normally 10, but they want to close early I was quite upset when she said that and reacted, we pay 25$ a teller for all that they can eat, but they tell us we can't order sushi we asked for a discount. after that she went back and forth into the kitchen. then she said they were pissed and could do what we wanted. or we could have a 10% discount. after all the food was destroyed. we decided to order more instead of the discount....2 more roll. should also have gotten the discount when they ask me. brutal service. never back."

"We spent our labour day weekend in Halifax. We walked pass this restaurant in the first night, went in and decided to go for all you can eat hot pot. We chose two base soups and ordered a dish of beef, lamb and shrimp. Because these 3 items are not included in all you can eat . I think beef and lamb were worth to order, but shrimp was not peeled so I didn 't enjoy them. There are many choices and variety in the buffet. We are happy with most of items in the buffet. When the base soup got lower later, we asked to add more, but we were charged for add more . I 'd not recommend to order tea because we barely drank our tea. Tea seems not go along well with hot pot."

"It was not decided to try more sushi places in the city, but today a great colleague of mine recommended this place and I found it a nice place to satisfy my sushi hunger, although I am not a kicker, but vulnerable to seafood and for nothing. Overall, good price menu, delicious dishes, beautiful servers and cheeky chefs that make fun of customers in their native language! Will come again and recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap Japanese food in downtown Halifax. Edit: I am again and still the same good place. Thanks to Ryu Update: Thanks to Chihiro and Yuki for their great service. The aal section was fantastic."

"We usually come here when we are in town, and it is consistently good. To be fair, my friend know the owner and are loyal but I agree that it is great sushi and great service every time. I've tried the rolls, and the sashimi, my daughter enjoyed some Udon soup and I love the Suzuki salad. We all love the ice cream when we save room for it! Unfortunately they usually run out of the Asahi when we are here, pretty much every time."
