"Only cash. very close to the hanamikoji street and the kenninji tempel in gion. very welcoming atmosphere and super friendly staff. I ordered the vegan 10 vegetables curry udon and I was not disappointed. it has a very rich taste, thick suppe, and although it is quite sharp for what I am used to tolerate, it has not my pleasure to finish the entire dish. perfect cold bowl. there are 2 vegan udon options, and a few other vegan and vegetarian appetizers, pages, etc. (see pictures uploaded.) I would like to go back to try the other vegan Udon option."

"I ordered the Vegan Udon Set with Tempura Vegetables. The meal was filling and came with a lot of veggies. We chose to sit in the traditional tatami mat area of the restaurant which gave the experience a more authentic feel. However, they do ask to not take pictures with other customers in them."

"The food is good but not up to the 3 stars level. Their cooking style is old, lacks innovation and did loose identity. In other words, the sashimi lacked luster and many of the served dishes were nothing but nicely presented fish in gel. We expected tuna, like a small piece : . Desert was not better and the quality of served tea is way below expectations. From another perspective two dishes stood. Like we’re impressive, the first was the rice cake miso soup. This was an exceptional one and the fried fish that they would transfer the skin and bones into soup. Simplest and most powerful dishes representing the old school of Kyoto cooking culture. We expected more of that and got only two...ah, and the mackerel was also good. Would we repeat the visit; no. Would we have avoided the experience, the answer is no as well"
