"The £12.50 Set B menu in the evening is a great deal. A main meal and 3 plates of sushi. The portion is decent and quite filling. My OH and I went there on a date night. Friendly staff and it was very busy. They don't take bookings but luckily there were seats. Covid-safe with temperature check and hand sanitation at the entrance as well as shields between every two or four seats. We chose the ramen and I enjoyed it a lot. I'd say the quality matches up with the chain restaurant in Piccadilly Gardens but much more affordable. The sushi were nice too. Only pity was that we were too full to go upstairs for desserts but we'll come back for it next time."

"We waited more than an hour for our mains, with mains arriving at tables who ordered after we did. Considering that there are only four mains on the lunch menu, the wait time is inexplicable. The quality of the food was adequate but was certainly not worth the wait."

"Every time I was in the last 10 years in a lottery, I visited this place (chinatown restaurant) that eat is always excellent and the staff is so friendly. the gloomy room upstairs is also great."

"Not got a bad word to say about this place. Simplicity wins out and they do the easy things exceptionally well. Airy basement restaurant with classic Japanese influences of bench seating and tables. Minimalist look as well, with a changing display of art. All the favourites are available Nasi Goreng, Tempura vegetables and Pad Thai; although the Ramens are probably the best I've ever had. Casual dining experience. Take-away service too (good for tasty desk-bound lunch Less than each. Children's menus. Many vegetarian options, vegan too. Set menus."

"Finally, I tried this Korean place after a few years. since a few years lived in korea and missing food was lacking to try. first impressions were the place that needed a do-over due to the use and the time, with tables and chairs not I best. the place could be cleaner and look cleaner than it really is. the service was polite and polite, as the korean are in the rule. the food was authentic and tasty, but I ordered the seafood jeon that a little undercooked and the Kinchi jiggae was not served bubble hot and a water down because it was not as spicy or strong in the taste as I used to. I'll come back next time."

"A couple of weeks ago, I was invited together with two of my fantastic four to try a peskatarian taste tour in tampopo im metford centre. whenever we make a trip to the metford centre (tc), there is always a designated collection of restaurants that we often tend. the number one, tends to read iguanas, followed by the safe bet of nando. yang sing slides comfortably into the third and then it is a kind of pot luck with some of the others. I would only visit tampopo once, it was not a personal choice, it was where our friends to eat, so I remember playing it super safe and ordering a pad Thai and not much more distracted from the good company than the good food."
