"I got the nabeyaki udon with vegetable tempura The vegetable tempura was disappointing. I received it hot but it wasn't crunchy. The batter was bland and was heavy so I tasted more batter than the vegetables. The veggies were pumpkin, sweet potato, and jalapeños/peppers. All of the veggies under the batter were bland as well. As time went by the batter tasted really oily and soggy. It put a bad taste in my mouth and put in a bad mood when the udon came. However, the udon's broth was light and flavorful. Nothing special about the noodles- it's as it should be. The broth was the highlight of the udon. Comes in a pot with some chicken pieces, mushroom, spinach, and poached egg."
