"This was my final Japanese restaurant I had yet to try in Vernon.After multiple visits to Japan and annual trips to Asia, it is great to see Vernon have a large number of Asian restaurants.J-Don has been here for a long time. Donburi and Udon dishes are most commonly ordered here. It's definitely their specialties.I really like how the restaurant is decorated and how bright it is.They give you a tray for your bowl, a cup of water, and chopsticks.The Veggie Don came to $15.33 after tax. "Amazing. This is such a small, little tucked away sushi place with boring decor, but the sushi is amazing. I ordered the 9pc yam roll and 9pc veggie roll, and shared a small sour apricot roll. The apricot roll was different, but the other two were superb. Instead of being deep fried, the yams in the yam roll were rolled with what seemed to be rice crispy's, which gave the roll a nice crunch, without the unhealthyness of deepfrying. My new favorite place for sure."

"The food was good but the service was really slow, my daughter ordered an avocado roll that was not only delayed at our table but also wasn't made properly, roll was completely undone so all the ingredients were out of place. , making an unpleasant dinner experience , I paid for poor food preparation and honestly I would not recommend the place and obviously I won't come back"
