"Seoul Soul is an authentic Korean restaurant that serves Korean Fried Chicken other traditional entrees and dishes~ I had a chance to go there last week for the first time, and might I say out of all the Korean restaurants I’ve been to Waterloo Seoul Soul definitely is in my top 3. I had ordered 3 dishes; Jaeyuk Bokkeum, Seoul Chicken, and Kimchi Fried Rice. All of these dishes were fantastic and absolutely delicious. My favourite out of all of the dishes was definitely the Seoul Chicken which was basically Korean fried chicken glazed with Sweet Spicy house sauce (YangNyeom). The fried chicken is so juicy yet crispy and tender, it was just perfect! I’d definitely recommend trying out their fried chicken cause it's just amazing. "We walked in here and the place was empty which made us very skeptical of the rating. There was not a lot of staffing (as with most businesses these days) and we originally thought service was slow. After our food came out we realized that everything was oversized and delicately arranged. The flavours were excellent. Presentation was excellent. I still could not believe that this gem was empty. Warning to everyone like us that order as if you?re at an all you can eat, the portions are massive. We ordered 3 rolls and a seaweed salad for two people and we took half the rolls as take away. Highly recommend this place. I learned an important lesson about judging a book by its cover."

"This is my favourite place in the plaza, but some of the bad reviews are not wrong. Sogo offers some of the most authentic Chinese food. The beef noodle soup is a favourite, and I actually really like the lamb and soaked bread soup. If you don 't know Chinese or aren 't familiar with these dishes however you might not get what you expect. This restaurant clearly caters almost exclusively to the Chinese crowd. The interior is also a little dark and cluttered, certainly not the cleanest. Despite all these flaws, I would be lying to myself if I didn 't give Sogo 5 stars. If you want a hearty, homestyle taste of china instead of the typical shiny 'fake Chinese ' food you usually see, this is a good place to go."
