"Sometimes I find a restaurant that is so good that I'm torn between keeping it a secret, somewhere for me and me alone, and telling each and every person I meet exactly how wonderful it is. I booked seats for my parents and myself at one of the Test Kitchen evenings this week, and we're already planning when we can visit next. The food was fantastically fresh, complex and innovative; the service warm and attentive; the decor gorgeous and comfortable. I have absolutely no doubt that dining at the restaurant on a standard night would be just as excellent, but I am so thrilled that we chose to attend one of the test kitchens. The food was amazing, but even more amazing was getting to meet the chefs; hearing their thoughts behind each dish, and seeing exactly how passionate they are about their work. So wonderful, such young, vibrant, and creative minds. The hosting was excellent, and my only regret was that I drove and couldn't take part in the matching drink pairings. <br>
I've been to many degustations at many different restaurants around the world, and while not each dish was exactly to my tastes, the entirety of the evening has made this one of my favourite degustation experiences so far."

"Went to Taiko with my wife and adult daughter ordered 2 hotpots usually a good choice in winter but not this time . The hot pot included 1 prawn 1/2 scallop and a small piece of fishcake. The beef included 6 microslices and some vegetables. We were told the sushi was good but don't order the hot pot."

"I usually go to another sushi train not far from here but I thought I’d give this place a go. For those walking to it, it is right across the way from the Louis Vuitton store on level 1. Sushi is nice here, fresh etc. I particularly liked the salmon and scallop aburi as it was freshly made and still had the heat from it being seared. Takoyaki was beautiful and creamy. Bit noisy from young people as it does cater for big groups, however did not take away from my experience. Would have liked to see some more variety of sushi like the volcano that Sushi Edo offers."

"This restaurant was %100 better before changing ownership back in 2016. The Japanese quality service is gone completely. Staff are either busy on their mobile phones or just lazing around. Don't expect them to answer the phone any time soon, ask for chopsticks to take...away and expect a gormless look as if you've asked for something way beyond the means of normal."

"Through the plastic panels at the order it was difficult to hear and communicate with the employees. ends up getting our order wrong and get an unwanted salmon benton, no refunds, concessions or any excuses from employees."

"A bit hit and miss in terms of freshness. Sometimes you can say that it sits in a refrigerator that I find unhappy. if it's good, it's good. I'm obsessed with the teriyaki chicken rolls and have a few others all tried well. it is only that these rolling are huge and cheap. can not go wrong. charling hand roll sushi joint anywhere ever."
