"Stopped in here for a quick lunch during a work trip in Ottawa. I was blown away by how fresh my rolls were. It seems this place is co-located with a fish market/restaurant so the fish is just unbelievably tasty in very generous portions. I had the spicy combo with tuna, salmon, and scallop rolls. They were all fish, all the time. It's been hours and I'm still emotionally invested in the lunch I had. This is a must try. Friendly service and nice, modern casual decor too."

"My man and I visited the new location of sushi fresh. we started with soba salat as an appetizer that was delicious. the sushi bentobox and the unagi rice dish were spectacular! definitiw the best sushi restaurant in the city. the personal was super friendly and we had a great experience!"

"My husband and I went to Orchid Sushi yesterday for dinner and we were very surprised at how good it was! It is so hard to find a good sushi place in Ottawa. We are used to eating the best sushi in Montreal and it's been hard to find a place here. But now we have found the place to go to! And the chef and owners were super nice!! And it's very reasonably priced! We'll definately be heading back there soon for my brothers birthday!"

"Nous étions en couple et avons commandé une assiette pour deux de Sushis et de sashimi. L'assiette était assez copieuse et le poisson excellent et de différentes variétés! Le service a été impeccable ! Le personnel est très attentif aux besoins de la clientèle ! Je recommande ce restaurant sans hésiter !"

"Forget the other places listed (Sushi 88? Mandarin? c'mon! . This is the best sushi in Ottawa, and certainly good moderately priced sushi anywhere. Had a great meal last week. Sashimi was super fresh, nicely cut, and carefully presented. Teriyaki dishes were very tasty and generous....Rolls were solid, clean, and yummy."

"It gives the feel of small Japanese restaurant you would come across in the rural part of Japan. The food is delicious and the service was also awesome. I recommend.Kid-friendliness: Note that they do not have a changing table for babies in any of their toilets. There is also no option for babe food, so plan ahead.Parking: Depending on the day and time, the street parking is either free or you need to pay for it! Additionally, it is pretty hard to find parking right next to the restaurants. If you are unlucky, you might want to consider a 5-8min walk from the restaurant to find appropriate parking."

"We used to hit the heavy lunch brush and ordered salmon and scallop sashimi, the unagi donburi, and the chickens teriyaki ramen. While the food itself was great, the Sashimi did not come until we finished hot meals and we... wanted to remind the staff a few times. It seemed as if the staff had those with takeover orders over the in the restaurants, at least on the Sushi/Sashimi line."
