"Cons: On September 18th, at 1206pm I attended for lunch at this restaurant for the second time. The first experience, re the quality or freshness of food was not great. However, Golden Sakura Sushi was full and parking non existent so I figured we would give it another try. We sat down at table C4. Around us tables were full. It was busy with patrons, and there appeared to be 5 waitress. I was offered tea. We looked at the lunch menu and I ordered the Special Box for $18.95. The Japanese dumplings or gyoza. We had not one dedicated waitress but we were asking any staff that walked by, the later and later it took to receive our food. We both got miso soup. The temperature was lukewarm at best to cold. Not steaming hot as it should have been. This should have been our first indication of things to come. My guest had to be back at work at 1:10pm. The appetizer arrived and was o.k. I asked for some sambal sauce and it did come on the side. Half of my order came. There was only four small and measly pieces of sushi. The rice was not cooked through, or fresh. It was semi-hard. There was three small pieces of sashimi on the plate as well resting on small clumps of the same quality of rice. The lunch menu had indicated in a pink star in the upper left corner with the word “wow”. The tempura vegetables, teriyaki chicken, Japanese salad wasn’t with the order. I asked for the lunch menu and asked another waitress, we were missing the items indicated, as well my guest hasn’t received hers. She advised me it was o.k. to start eating as she assumed her must be out on the heels of mine. Sadly and then angrily this did not happen. People around us paid for their meals and left. Staff cleared the tables and set them with new utensils. Meanwhile we were not offered more tea, water or another pop for my guest. Two tables were seated with new patrons and their orders were taken. It felt like we were absurdly and absolutely forgotten! I flagged one waitress down and asked it’s been 50 minutes, I’m missing the other part of my meal and my guest hers altogether. They were two boxes. The waitress seemed surprised like we ate and were just waiting. The other two tables with patrons were served there food completely, we couldn’t believe it at all. The trays after another 10 minutes arrived. The meat if you could call it that was breaded and deep fried which is how it was supposed to be. The chunks of grisly fat on my box was left. My guests food was also substandard and poor of quality. Also at no point did anyone of the staff come and ask (which is typically asked at restaurants) on “how was everything?” or “is everything good?”. A waitress who processed our transaction cause we demanded the bill said “sorry for the wait” I said that wasn’t as bad as other tables served way faster then us who had been there seated substantially longer then them. Again you must remember these choices we ordered we lunch menu and main menu items. We were not asked if we wanted to take any food with us. $50.77 was a painful and expensive lesson to learn to not go back ever. You are better off getting not only fresher and cheaper sushi from any local grocery store sushi bar hands down. Obviously no tip was provided. No discount or remedy offered either by the major F ups. Also the time on the bill is incorrect, we paid then left at 1:08pm. Pros: The wooden seats had black outside patio chair type cushions to sit on for comfort. Golden sakura sushi is up the street on Wood. Wood Street Ramen noodle house is near the Yukon Theater too. Both tastier, fresher IMHO. That is it."

"This is my second visit First was in Jan 2018. Which is okey! It took forever to the waitress t take my order I had to track her down for ordering my drink and food I have ordered salmon sushi combo pate and green tea...and water I had to wait 10mins to get water and i had To ask for that from the counter and brings water from the tap! In summer hot water from tap!! Wow!! And she forgot my tea that i had to request which came out cold! The food is okey! Tip for the management: please clean your tea cups at least once in a week with baking powder to remove that gunk of those cups! Yuk!! Never again going back!!"
