"Very nice place where you can eat a delicious Japanese food. You are welcome by the team. We recommand it good to know: at 22h00 it is the last food order, it seems that the goal is to finish 23h00. "We dined in a party of four and decided on the six course tasting menu with wine pairings. We had refused a glass of champagne as we had already had an aperitif, but obviously that was the wrong answer as we were then told there would be several pre-dinner courses that were not on the menu and wouldn't we like a glass of champagne. We gave in, but it was annoying.The meal was good, even the pretentious South American algae, and the Norwegian moss (which tasted exactly as you would expect moss to taste.) I was the only one who loved the horseradish ice cream, but I loved it enough for us all.The wine pairings, however, were not an enhancement. We chose the pairings because we assumed the sommelier would do better than us, with our limited knowledge of Austrian wines, but I am confident we could have found a good white and a good red from the list, and at considerably less than the EUR90 for each setting.Our bill came to EUR1000, which was overpriced thanks to the champagne and the wine pairings, and I genuinely feel that adding a cover charge of EUR5 or whatever it is, is an outrage.We also had a lecture at the end of our meal about being open to new things. I suspect this was because we questioned the pairing of a cider with one course, which was fairly unpleasant. We smiled and were polite, but that kind of defensiveness was really out of place and unnecessary."
