"I think the tonkatsu was the wrong move. Probs should have ordered the miso we all found it kinda flat and bland. Needed a pickle or something to brighten the flavor. Portion was massive, not a huge fan of the noodles. They were kinda overcooked. I really wanted to like them because they are so cute and mom and pop, but I didn't. Vegan one apparently was very meh and wish they included a protein option. Would probably give it one more shot for the miso but there are so many other better spots in nyc that I may not."
