"First time going to Korean BBQ. Apologies in advance if someone felt offended culture vise) Food we ordered: Marinated pork; Spicy pork; Marinated Chicken; Spicy Chicken Pros: Nice Atmosphere Nice worker polite Helpful worker Food was OKAY: Kimchi was good... Spicy Chicken was really good Spicy pork was good Rice with sauce black think sauce) was great $34/ per person for BBQ blue colour options) seems like good price I am not sure if that is good price for person going to Korean BBQ for first time) Con: The exhaust system fan is really low where you can 't even cook food properly without accidentally hitting the grill This could be us however this is charcoal based grill and the flame were high where it burnt food to black on some occasions. Someone constantly had to cook because the heat dispersion was not done right in grill From what I heard the Korean BBQ is also known for side dishes you get Banchan . I heard you get quite variety of it in Korean BBQ. However they only provided 4 Bean sprout Kimchi Cucumber Carrots Kimchi? Thin long slices of carrot covered in kimchi sauce) We were provided with 2 sauces Soya sauce Tomato spicy paste sauce? Again I am not sure if this is what you supposed to happen because I saw various Korean BBQ based video USA based where they were provided more side dishes Banchan . I wanted to make sure I do this right therefore I did my research at best of my capabilities. We also had to buy lettuces for wrap. Again I could be highly wrong, however don 't you get lettuce leaves and sesame leaf as part of Banchan Food options were limited in some degree. They had beef options but I don 't eat beef so I can 't say what they provided was enough they had wagyu). There were 3 chicken option and 3 pork option. The way chicken and pork cut was tbh personal preference not that appetising looking. They were thinly sliced and looked like slob of meat. All three meat were provided on one tray except spicy chicken. The spicy chicken came as wings) Opinion: I personally believe if you want to have good Korean BBQ experience. I would NOT recommend this place. However if you want super basic experience you can start from here"

"We quite enjoyed the desserts here. We had their matcha roulade and could taste the matcha in the dish. It would be better if the matcha was richer in flavour. We also enjoyed their chocolate lava dish, crepe cakes and strawberry and chocolate waffle. Our only feedback in regards to the waffle was we thought the waffle was kind of soggy."

"Restaurant Blackwood has been on our to do list for ages. Run by the same people who own Orana upstairs we were hoping the food was going to be good...and we were definitely not disappointed. The wait staff knew everything on the menu very well and were extremely friendly and accommodating to all kinds of customers who happened to dine on the same night as us. Each dish was well worth the purchase. For a meal out in the city without fine dining but amazing food I would certainly give this place a go. We had kanagroo crackers with a rich spicy sauce, scallops and sea plants, king prawns, two different types of salads (beetroot, pumpkin and goats curd with macadamia milk and spinach & the other ones name escapes my memory), beef tartare with potato crackers and house made Dijon mustard, hot chips with lime salt then a brownie pancake to finish off. Between two way too much food but delicious none the less. The restrooms are located up the stairs so not good for...

"I come here quite often for a hit of cheap and tasty crepes, grouchy service despite. tonight sat and was served by someone who has absolutely no interest in their job. She did not look so happy that she had to stop talking to her friend to serve me. barely recognized me when I wore an acidic look at her face. then I looked at her name sign and it said supervisor."

"Menu is massive, they have many options. Food and drinks came out quickly so there was very little wait. It wasn't really busy when we first sat but quickly became full. Might need to wait for a while if you're dropping by at peak dinner hours. They have tons of drink options which both came out quickly and was delicious."

"I’m a stickler for perfection when a food is part of the places name and the crepes have been on point every time I’ve come here. Great place to come for dessert with a wide selection of teas also. Love it and all the French accents that come with it."

"I walked past the signboard for this place most evening when walking along Rundle Street. It's logo is a handlebar moustache and it is tucked away up stairs in what can only be described as an old apartment. You feel like you have walked into someone's living room and that is exactly what the cafe is trying to achieve. Music blares from an old gramophone (though on closer inspection it turned out that it was only the speaker and had an iPod connected to it :) ), comfortable retro sofas and arm chairs are laid out as if you were in a parlour of sorts. The decor is all very retro and charming. We had the lovely Apple Ceylon tea, which was in keeping with the quirky nature of the place. Having said that, it felt like a more appropriate thing would have been brandy and cigars (and I don't even smoke!). It just had that retro feel to it. Loved it!"
