"I’ve no idea how authentic the food is, but one great thing, was that all the dishes we ordered tasted completely different and were delicious! (I’ve been to many a Chinese restaurant where the sauces taste practically all the same and are doused in monosodium glutamate not here! It’s also a rather small but amicable family run joint, so it needs our support! The Wantan I started with, were the best I have ever had the pastry crispy but almost melt in your mouth and the filling generous and exquisite! I ate the “Cantonese Crispy Duck”. It’s just like another reviewer said crispy but fresh tasting and succulent I ate most of the duck without the accompanying sauce because the meat was so well prepared. The vegetarian “Chop Suey” my fiancé ate was an absolute delight, very fresh, colourful and bursting with flavour! The white and red wines on offer from the Napa Valley are easy on the wallet and accompany the food perfectly. We decided to make an exception and to order the Chinese speciality dessert on offer deep fried ice cream. Give it a go. It’s a delicious mixture of sweet (vanilla ice cream and savoury (deep fried batter perfect!"

"We really enjoyed our evening meal, starting with Prosecco cocktails. We all went for mains only the deer and cod which were delicious. The fantastic puddings to follow did not disappoint. Good service If a little slow by UK standards. Whilst the room we were on was ok we had thought we might be in the grand setting as displayed on the Trip Advisor post."

"It's nice to sit outside (with 35 degrees there's always a nice air!) or inside (to the windows, big, and with view on the humanity that goes and comes,) sip a good beer and served very well (it's not everyone!,) to have 4 chat with our guest who always has a kind word and a smile for everyone. the bistro is at a crossroads, and there are many different and interesting people, and it is a meeting point for the inhabitants of the district. the bar also makes diner, with family cuisine rich, tasty and at moderate prices. for those who love to take a sweet or salty breakfast (the croissants come from the bakery next door, which is among the best in the city) or a small break between one commission and the other!"

"My philippinian wife confirmed already during eating: 100% filipino, tastes just like mama in the visayas, the chef is by the way filipino. In addition to the Filipino classics, there are also Indian menues, on a vegetarian basis, wonderful aromas, delicious. we ate on Saturday over midday and then again on Sunday Brunch.The local is very spacious and makes a very family impression. on the usual decorations that are often found in asian restaurants in europa. for one may be too simple, I find comfortable and suitable. after wilmas kitchen in baths, now also basel has a real filipino restaurant. and these include occasionally caraoke evenings, lechon etc."
