"Booked the Tirou yesterday as passing Castelnaudary on way to Toulouse airport on recommendation from friends We were not disappointed The Cassoulet looked superb but too heavy for us en route We chose the cheapest menu and had amazing pate's, superb duck,and Black pudding with apple and superb vegetables Desert was beautiful apple tarted covered in a foam cream sauce, nuts and home made ice cream Service was relaxed but attentive The whole meal was memorable We will be back"

"I'm a stalker, so used to witches! Used to comparisons. at the time we had our habits with my parents and we went back to the crepe (name for a cassoulet restaurant). This cassoulet is a reference! homemade, when you taste it, you feel authenticity. an extra taste, and a mastered turn of hand. so yes, indeed, you have to make a few kilometers to get there, but what a pleasure! to carry, the portion is 6,50€/person. A feast! do not forget to bring the cassole back (the dish in which the cassoulet is served) because it is recorded. I'm going back to castelnaudary next week: I know I'm going to the crozes!"

"This restaurant is in a rural location by the roadside on the right of route nationale heading from Castelnaudery to Toulouse. Easy to find and easy to park . Le Moulin has a cosy warm ambience and offers a friendly atmosphere . We had booked a table for 7 and were well accommodated, a full view of the big grilling fire with chef in full sight of his customers.Service was a wee bit slow to begin with , but not a problem. OK ...The food...This is a "joint " for carnivores , so beef , veal , duck and lamb feature heavily on the menu , but grilled fish can be ordered too. Wine available by the pichet at sensible no nonsense prices , desserts and puddings delicious. My meal which was more than adequate for a late dinner was Tournedos cooked a point and dessert of cafe gourmand.Can recommend this venue, the food was superb , the overall experience is worth the effort of getting there and we will return. Total cheque for 7 people including 2 litre pichets of red wine , puddings and excellent coffees etc totalled €202. Very good but just a touch short of excellent!"
