"The decor of this place feels like it's new Years eve in Little Italy. The lighting Mean Streets. The hospitality what Olive Garden ads pretend to be. Was really impressed by the no frills eating experience as Faso's. Had a white cheese pizza. I usually don't do white but it is a special. Very crispy, not too heavy, rich garlic and oil flavor. Anchovies make it even better! Do not hold on it, it's not strong at all. So if you want to go back in time for family Italian cuisine go here. I'm definetely coming back here again for more."

"Ordered a 16 inch cheese pizza and it was good. It was simple and it had a decent thickness. It wasn't greasy at all. The crust was pretty crispy. I kinda wish the pizza was has bit more cheese. Everything else was good."

"Do not use menu website-menu it totally different, no entrees, only bar type food. Only two workers who had to man the bar and wait tables. They tried but there was too much work. I would only recommend for a burger and a beer."

"With a visit to the family outside the city and one please for pasta we have made our way to gigis cucina povera for a Sunday dinner. there were several of us sitting on a very comfortable round table so that 4 bottles of wein together with some arancini (risotto balls and mozzarella) and clam casino were ordered. I preferred the clams casino that was perfectly baked and not chewing at all. the other family members enjoyed the arancini, but I found them a bit too easy for my taste. to go to dinner, I asked for a recommendation and the server beat spaghetti carbonara. it was fantastic! I loved the creamy sauce that was created by the butter and the ice and there was the perfect thing with pancetta gave the dish a rich taste. I tried some of the linguini con bygole of my brother (yes I enjoy fresh whistles) and the white mussel sauce was delicious with a perfect amount of mussel juice and garlic, so that the aromes are mixed together and not overdoing. I scanned the ribbed eye and enjoyed the rosmarin and sea salt twist until cut. it was asked to do medium, and that is exactly how it was prepared – no complaining there. the whole evening meal was pleasant and the staff was extremely attentive. we finished the meal with their homemade limoncello. it was so delicious that we ordered a bottle. we are already planning a return in the holiday season!"
